Multi-Material Rapid Prototyping of Anatomic Musculoskeletal Hand and Joints
Multi-Material Rapid Prototyping of Anatomic Musculoskeletal Hand and Joints: For my high school senior project, I created a low-cost, 3D-printed anatomical hand model with flexible, material-enabled joints.
I am an 18-year-old maker who is passionate about 3D printing and biotechnology. During my gap year between high school and college, I am planning to volunteer on a project to make low-cost, 3D printed prostheses in Central America, and other things! I am also very interested in bio-printing, biomimicry and self-assembly. I am hoping to apply as a freshman in 2018 to a school that has robust 3D- and bio-printing facilities. I have presented 3D-printed projects at two MakerFaires, including the World MakerFaire 2017 in NYC. I am a lifetime member of Techshop Arlington.
