Born and raised in Rome, Viviana Altieri came to Pittsburgh on a $100 bet. While pursuing a career in technology, she continue to promote the Italian language and culture throughout the city of Pittsburgh. In 2013, she founded ISTITUTO MONDO ITALIANO which has become THE PLACE for anything Italian. She also returned to her true passion of making jewerly and fashion accessories thus creating different lines with different everyday and also unique materials in a very...European way! Her stylish jewerly was recently seen at the recent Pittsburgh Fashion Week and the Market Square Evening Markets and the Squirrel Hill evening market. Viviana also enjoys working with children and has created "Creative Summer Camps" at Mondo Italiano, Sewickley Academy and The Ellis School.
