Maker Faire Pittsburgh is taking over the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and Buhl Community Park!
We are committed to providing an inclusive and interactive experience for all visitors.
The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, producer of Maker Faire Pittsburgh, provides exhibits, programs, and public spaces that are inclusive and interactive for all visitors.
Accessible parking is located in the Museum’s rear parking lot.
Accessible pathways are available throughout all Faire locations. The main Museum entrances are wheelchair accessible with power assist doors. The Museum is fully accessible by ramp and elevator, with the exception of the Gravity Room in the Attic Gallery. Service animals are welcome in all Faire locations. ADA-compliant cable covers are used throughout the Faire grounds. Motorized wheelchairs are always permitted.
Most performances, workshops, and entertainment on the Green Mountain Energy Stage and in the Workshop Zone, will provide the following services:
Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh staff are trained on how to help visitors with various needs and can provide the following tools to individuals free of charge for use at Maker Faire Pittsburgh (supplies are limited). Please see staff at any Information booth to request:
All restrooms inside the Museum are accessible and are equipped with changing tables. Outdoor accessible restrooms will be located at Children’s Way + Ridge Ave; and near Children’s Way on the Southeast corner of Buhl park.
